ABOUT US
A SHORT STORY
PixelGlow was established in early 2011 as a trading entity to handle the photographic service portfolio of the already-established company Gecko Visualisation Services Pty Ltd.
Its founder, Adam Hauldren, is an Adobe Certified Expert in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, and has worked in 2D and 3D digital arts and education for over 20 years, providing high-quality services to the public and private sectors in Europe, the US, and Australia.
A keen photographer since the age of 10 when he received his first compact 110-format film camera, Adam joined the digital photography revolution 16 years ago, and has a wealth of experience in the entire digital workflow, from composing and taking photographs through post-processing and digital content management.
He now shoots with pro Nikon & Fuji cameras & lenses, and continues to be amazed at the fact that his mobile phone has a more full-featured camera in it than the first dedicated digital camera that he purchased in 1998!
PHOTOGRAPHY
The heart and soul of what we do at PixelGlow is to create beautiful photographic images for our clients.
With a network that includes professionals in the hair, make-up and modelling industries, we strive to provide the best results possible, within budget.
While our focus is predominantly on Fashion, Editorial and Portrait imagery, we are happy to consider other briefs and would welcome contact from you with an overview of what you are seeking.
PHOTO-EDITING & POST-PROCESSING
With over 20 years of digital image-editing experience, and certification from Adobe, along with a range of cutting edge hardware and software, we are eminently positioned to edit the images of our clients.
While our own image processing tends towards beauty treatments for fashion, editorial and portraiture, we have previously handled jobs ranging in size from single images to many thousands of images and the editing process has ranged from image management (sorting, selection and metadata tagging) to digital reconstruction of damaged photographs (photo-restoration).
TUITION
Originally a certified trainer of Microsoft products, Adam now prefers to provide tuition in graphics software with the focus on digital photographic techniques.
Drawing on his personal and professional experience, Adam is able to provide customised classroom and individual tuition aimed at providing you with the skills that you require.
